This just came in today…a wonderful old wooden box filled with war time uncut rolls of German 35mm agfacolor film.. mostly Germany 1943.I wonder why the photographer never cut the films and framed them ?Anyway.. another great addition to my slide collection and another piece of history protected Ian ( farbfilm wk2 )
Here is the latest agfacolor to slide out of my nikon coolscan V enjoy. german soldiers eating lunch beside a train in france 1940.The train wagon is the background shows the star of david. Meaning it was used to transport Jewish people. A sad history. Thats why these old photos are so important. to remind us of our history and what we did wrong, so we may never repeat such things again.
last night I refound an old german agfacolor slide ( farbdia ) that was taken in Crimea 1941. Showing local children. Wonderful photo. Anyway. Here is a nice sample of my 15 year old slide scan and now the new scan with my nikon coolscan V slide scanner beautiful isn’t it Ian
